MatchPoint Connection, a leading app connecting brands to talent for paid promotions, announced its partnership with INFLCR today. MatchPoint provides NCAA athletes with on-demand access to businesses looking to book NIL deals. Athletes on the app will experience a two-way marketplace, allowing them the ability to both send and receive offers from brands. MatchPoint and INFLCR’s partnership links Teamworks & INFLCR’s combined 150,000+ athlete user base to an exclusive network of endorsement opportunities within the MatchPoint platform.
MatchPoint CEO, Brian Oliver, said, “College athletes across 47 states have created a profile on Matchpoint to date. Our partnership with INFLCR will give our athletes an additional layer of compliance related to the industry required reporting. We are also excited to provide INFLCR’s 2,100+ teams with a free platform for the athletes to use anytime they want to engage in an NIL promotion.”
The trusted and secure marketplace of MatchPoint and its integration with INFLCR allows athletes to receive endorsements from local to national brands, apply for campaigns, and earn compensation – all while ensuring that the athlete remains compliant and NCAA eligible. LSU gymnast, Sarah Edwards, said “MatchPoint has made it so easy for me to leverage my name, image and likeness. I want my brand partnerships to reflect who I am in and out of the gym. The “suggested” brand feature by MatchPoint connects me with opportunities that align with ME. I’ve worked with Orange Theory, Kendra Scott, and Paris Parker Aveda Salon and Spa through the app.”
INFLCR founder and CEO, Jim Cavale, said, “At INFLCR, we consistently push education to student-athletes on how to be authentic storytellers and leverage their platforms to share who they are both on the field and outside of the game. Partnering with MatchPoint empowers student-athletes to more readily find and capitalize on NIL opportunities that align with how they desire to grow their personal brands while also ensuring that the connections remain compliant with current NIL rules.”
In-App Access
Through the INFLCR Exchange, student-athletes will be encouraged to download the MatchPoint app onto their mobile devices and create a personal account to begin monetizing their NIL with MatchPoint’s network of brands looking for talent. Once an account is created, INFLCR and Teamworks athletes will be able to discover suggested match opportunities!
In-App Education
MatchPoint will create best-practice educational resource videos for INFLCR’s Storyteller Playbook. Located within the INFLCR app, all athletes will be able to access on-demand education through their mobile device or desktop computer.
In-App Reporting
MatchPoint allows athletes to track and manage their active partnerships and transaction history all from within the app. Further, MatchPoint’s partnership with INFLCR provides real-time reports on marketing dollars earned, while INFLCR’s Compliance Ledger handles all compliance and transaction reporting after a deal is complete to ensure that athletes are monetizing opportunities safely and compliantly.
